Going through the time I am going through presently, I get told a lot of empowering stuff, all of it deeply well intentioned, and I receive it gratefully as such.

But when I get a (rare) moment to myself, I sometimes replay these big statements of strength witnessed, and, being a Virgo with an intense Scorpio ascendant, I pick them apart.
